Scouts who would like some easy volunteer hours! David Settlemire is having an Eagle Project work day this Sunday Sep 26 from 2-5pm at 1540 Brockton Lane Winston Salem, NC 27106! We will meet in the backyard. Please bring work gloves and if anyone has a palm sander, please bring that too. There will be snacks and water. Please call or text us at 336-692-4519 and let us know if you are coming.
The September Court of Honor will be tomorrow, Sep 13, a 7 PM at the Alspaugh Worship Center at MTUMC. We look forward to you and your son celebrating the advancement of our Scouts and the awarding of merit badges earned over the summer. We will also be saying farewell to our SPL Will Young and installing our next SPL, Evan Danhauer.
We will return to our regular troop meetings on Sep 20 at 7 PM.
Troop Leadership wanted to send out this reminder that popcorn sales start today! We hope every scout will participate this season and reach the $400.00 per scout sales goal. This will ensure the troop can continue to operate purely on this one sales event every year.
The proceeds we earn from this single sales event pays for many Troop operational items such as everything found in the quarter master room (tents, cooking utensils, propane, shelters, shelving, storage containers, etc..) and transportation maintenance and operation (gas, stolen catalytic converters, insurance, tires, trailers, locks, etc..). If your scout attends a trip with the Troop, the cost of the trip never covers the operation expenses like equipment and maintenance. It’s covered with money we earn through popcorn sales!

As always have fun and stay safe!
