When: Wilderness & Remote First Aid, Saturday April 27, 8AM-6PM

**Optional session– CPR/AED, Friday April 26, 7PM-9PM (current CPR/AED certification required for WFA session)

Where: Camp Raven Knob, Mt Airy NC – Camp sites available Friday – Sunday AM

· No food provided

· Online session required prior to WFA in person class

· COURSE FEE: $ 90 for members Old Hickory Council #427, Plus $25 for optional CPR/AED session

· Course includes Wilderness & Remote First Aid two-year certification; optional Adult CPR/AED two-year certification. Some course materials provided.

Eagle Scout Projects

Greetings,

My name is Jackson Hartsough and I am a member of troop 934 in the Boy Scouts of America association. Being towards the end of my scouting journey I am working towards my Eagle Scout project and am now looking to fund that project. In total I am seeking around $700 in total donations and funds and will appreciate any donations of any size. My project will take place at the Mount Tabor United Methodist Church at 3543 Robinhood Road in Winston Salem. We will be refurbishing a labyrinth resembling a cross that used to sit behind the church near its cemetery. The church and its members would love to be able to utilize this space for gatherings, celebrations, and other events once again.The labyrinth will be recovered and repaired along with the addition of a new pea gravel base to prevent further erosion. In addition to accepting online donations we will have a fundraising event in which we will give out a hotdog with a donation of any size from 11:00 to 1:30 on Saturday the 27th at 3378 Sally Kirk Rd, W-S (a short 1 minute drive from MTUMC). Any donations are welcome and appreciated and I am very thankful for those who come out to support the project.
