An important message from Philmont Leader, Daniel Lobb regarding the Memorial Day Backpacking Trip May 23rd-May 26th at Deep Creek (Creak Smoky Mountains National Park):
Thank you to those scouts and parents who have already registered for this trip. If you plan to attend, could you add your name to the list? Bryan Scott and I are reserving back country camping permits which is a very tedious process and it is hugely helpful to have an accurate head count 30 days in advance. I urge you to sign up ASAP to help us plan a successful trip for everyone.
If you have not heard Bryan speak about this trip at a Monday night meeting – we are looking for several more adult leaders to attend this backpacking trip with the Troop. No previous experience is required and we may even have the gear that you need. We will have at least four separate treks and each trek needs two to four leaders. Please consider attending with us and start making memories on the trail. Bryan or I are happy to discuss this with you.

A wonderful offering from our Venturing Crew Leader, Bryan Scott regarding his upcoming trip to the Virginia Creeper Trail and Grayson Highlands on April 25th and 26th.  This trip is only available to adult leaders and scouts with a rank of Life or who is 15 years of age.  If you have not traveled the Virginia Creeper Trail, it is a fun, 17-mile ride not to be missed.  The Venturing Crew is in need of three adult leaders and one female leader.
